About WiAM SIG

WiAM is a passionate group of Asset Managers who are keen to show the benefits of asset management in providing diversity in the workplace.

Goals of WiAM

  • Bring together a group of Asset Management professionals in Power Generation
  • Share knowledge, experiences, and case studies in order to learn
  • Create strategies to utilise asset management to address the current challenges in the Power Generation sector

Key Meeting Places of WiAM

For those who subscribe, a monthly newsletter will be emailed, containing Workplace Diversity and Inclusion news in the asset management sphere. This subscription will also include invitations to webinars and local Chapter events.

A face-to-face networking forum and/or panel will be held annually at the Asset Management Council conference, AMPEAK.

Lucie Mitchell

Lucie Mitchel is a senior asset management professional and Chartered Engineer with over 22 years’ experience. She is a strong advocate for asset management thinking as a driver of value, and its ability to deliver the best outcomes at acceptable levels of cost and risk.

Lucy has a strong delivery focus, highly motivated by exceeding her customers’ requirements. She applies her knowledge of strategic asset management, ISO 55001, systems engineering, assurance, procurement, maintenance, contract management and leasing to the rail sector, with experience of rapid transit, light rail, urban / suburban main line and heavy haul rail operations and is passionate about the implementation of best practice techniques to improve the value and outcomes from long-life, high value, infrastructure and transport assets, in the challenging context of competing priorities and constraints.
